Hawaii’s Paniolo tradition is actually one of the oldest Western traditions on the planet. Who knew they had cowboys same as in the Western US since the mid 1800s? One of the biggest cattle ranches is in Hawaii and its cowboys knocked the socks off at Cheyenne Frontiers Days, winning world titles over 100 years ago.
